The Myoshinkan Aikido Dojo is a limited membership Dojo. In order to provide a high quality personal training environment we limit our beginning (white, yellow and blue belt) class enrollment to 25 members. The advanced class (brown and black belts) is limited to 12 members. To become a member you must be over 18 years old and successfully complete the 3-hour Introductory Lesson Program.

All classes are led by internationally qualified Black Belt instructors. Our goal is to enrich the quality of life of our students and to enrich the quality of Aikido through the efforts of our students. In the traditions of Aikido, the atmosphere of our Dojo is formal yet enthusiastic. We invite you to join us.

Fee Schedule

Our monthly dues are 50 dollars a month. We expect each student's commitment and in return, we provide a flexible schedule of quality classes taught by qualified and caring instructors.

Equipment

We wear Aikido uniforms (called keiko gi), single or double-weave, judo style. Students are required to own their own bokken (wooden sword) and jo (wooden staff). Weapons and uniforms are available from the Dojo.

Testing Requirements

Inclement Weather Policy

Our general policy is that if Guilford County Schools are closed due to bad weather, we will also be closed. However, to make sure, you can call the dojo.
