Membership
The
Myoshinkan Aikido Dojo is a limited membership Dojo. In order to
provide a high quality personal training environment we limit our
beginning (white, yellow and blue belt) class enrollment to 25 members.
The advanced class (brown and black belts) is limited to 12 members. To
become a member you must be over 18 years old and successfully complete
the 3-hour Introductory Lesson Program. Fee Schedule
Our
monthly dues are 50 dollars a month. We expect each student's commitment
and in return, we provide a flexible schedule of quality classes taught
by qualified and caring instructors. Equipment
We wear Aikido uniforms
(called keiko gi), single or double-weave, judo style. Students are
required to own their own bokken (wooden sword) and jo (wooden staff).
Weapons and uniforms are available from the Dojo. Testing RequirementsListed on the following
page are the knowledge requirements to test for each belt rank.
Click here. There is a 10 dollar rank examination fee when you
test. Inclement Weather PolicyOur general policy is that if Guilford County Schools are closed due to bad weather, we will also be closed. However, to make sure, you can call the dojo. |
